Seven rounds are written. Two remain.
Long Table Open is an independent Quarrel circuit. Eight duelists played a full round robin across seven rounds, and the two who finished top now meet over two legs at Ashgrove Hall. Reading along costs nothing and needs no account.

How a season is run
Season 1 decided the invitations. The eight duelists with the best Season 1 record were invited back for Season 2, with no entry fee and no buy-in at any point.
Season 2 itself is a single round robin: every duelist plays every other duelist exactly once, over seven rounds. There are no eliminations, so the table is settled only after the last round.
The two duelists at the top of that table contest the final over two legs, one at each end of the table, with the tie decided on aggregate games won. A level aggregate is settled by a single deciding game on the night. The full laws cover ties, timing and conduct.
Following the final
Both legs are called live from the Long Table desk, the circuit's own commentary team, with a written record posted after each leg. There is no ticket, no subscription and nothing to buy. Ashgrove Hall seats a small audience made up of the duelists' travelling parties.
Is there a buy-in? No. Duelists were invited on their Season 1 record. The prize is awarded for placing in a competition of skill; it is not a wager and there is no buy-in to compete. More answers.
